Brand Workshop & Strategy Sprint

A brand workshop is the fastest way to focus a brand before it goes into design. It does not replace a full brand strategy, but in one or two days it makes visible what is otherwise scattered across Slack channels, meetings and desk drawers. The format suits founding teams who need a shared understanding of their brand for the first time, established companies before a relaunch, and business units repositioning themselves. We facilitate across Germany, on-site at the company or in a neutral location.

What our workshop looks like

A typical day starts at 9 and ends at 5, with two longer breaks. We work with five to seven exercises that build on each other. First half: where do we stand, who is the audience, who do we position against, what makes us different. Second half: tone, brand promise, values with behavioural examples, first hypotheses about the visual identity. We use Miro, index cards and printed competitive analyses, whatever works.

Concretely, that means: we bring prepared exercises that fit the business, instead of a generic workshop template. A SaaS startup gets different questions than a brewery, a tax firm different ones than a fashion label. Preparation takes 5 to 10 working days, and in that time we ask more than most briefing forms do. What matters to us: by the end of the day, decisions are locked, written down, dated, with named owners.

What comes after the workshop

Within 10 working days of the workshop we deliver a strategy snapshot of 15 to 20 pages. Inside: the decisions from the workshop, positioning in one sentence, values with examples, an initial sketch of tone, and concrete next steps. The document is written so a designer, copywriter or developer can work with it without constantly asking back.

Common follow-ups are a brand relaunch if the brand exists, a full brand design for launches, or a brand audit when the workshop reveals the existing brand needs a clean analysis first. What we do not do: sell a workshop and disappear afterwards. If the next steps run internally, we hand over cleanly to the team or the next agency. A workshop is a door, not a business model in itself.

01

Clarity over brainstorm fatigue

Every exercise produces a real decision, not a post-it wall to photograph. We facilitate so that the end of the day delivers conclusions, not options.

02

Format matched to size

A founding team needs one day, an established company with stakeholders from three departments needs two. We choose the format honestly, based on complexity.

03

Output that carries forward

Instead of a photo protocol you get a 15 to 20 page strategy snapshot that captures the decisions cleanly. You can keep working the next day.

04

Plugs into the design work

The workshop is not a standalone. Outputs feed directly into [brand design](/en/leistungen/identitaet/markendesign), [naming](/en/leistungen/strategie/naming) or a [brand relaunch](/en/leistungen/strategie/markenrelaunch), depending on what comes next.

Frequently asked

A one-day workshop for a founding team typically lands between €1,800 and €3,200, including preparation and strategy snapshot. Two-day formats for larger groups with multiple stakeholders start at €4,500 and can run higher depending on prep and follow-up.

{ "We need 5 to 10 working days for prep": "briefing call, brief research, exercise design and materials. Spontaneous workshops in 48 hours do not work, because the exercises on the day will not fit the brand." }

The decision makers, plus at most one person per relevant department. More than eight people in the room means less depth, not more democracy. We prefer two workshops to one with 15 chairs.

Yes. Workshops happen on-site at the company or in a neutral location, across Germany. The format also runs fully remote, then split into four shorter slots of 90 minutes, because nobody sits through an eight-hour video workshop.

Within 10 working days we deliver the strategy snapshot that makes the decisions binding. From there it usually leads into [brand design](/en/leistungen/identitaet/markendesign), a [brand relaunch](/en/leistungen/strategie/markenrelaunch) or an extended [brand strategy](/en/leistungen/strategie/brand-strategie).
