Event Branding
An event is a brand on a deadline. It begins with an invite, lives for three days in a hall and dissolves into photos and memory afterwards. That is exactly why it needs a design system that works digitally in the run up, holds up in the room on event day, and is still recognisable in the press kit later. We design event branding for conferences, symposia and brand events across Germany, from the first save the date to the wayfinding in the foyer.
What event branding contains
In the digital run up: save the date, invite, event site or landing page, conference app surface, newsletter templates. In the room: backdrop, roll up, banner, lanyard, name tag, RFID wristband, wayfinding, door signs, catering signage. On stage: talk loop for the LED wall, speaker slide template, keynote presentation as a shared file. After the event: press kit, highlight reel lower thirds, photo templates for social.
We do not think the set as a list but as a system. One logo, one colour per edition, one type family, one icon set, one grid. If the conference returns next year, the logic stays and only the edition colour changes. That saves three weeks of design work per year and builds recognition between editions without a new logo being developed every time.
How production and event day fit together
Design is one half of the work, production the other. Fabric backdrops, LED playback, lanyard print and RFID wristband manufacturing have different lead times. We plan the calendar backwards from event day and deliver print data in each production specification. We work directly with trade fair stand partners and wayfinding builders so file format and on site build match. A typical event branding lands between €6,000 and €25,000, depending on event size and number of applications. We name the range honestly before the proposal.
One system for every touchpoint
Invite, website, conference app, roll up, backdrop, lanyard, RFID wristband, signage. We build the design system so every touchpoint belongs to the same brand.
Print and tech in one hand
We handle print data, production and on site setup, talk directly to stage builders and event technicians. You receive a result at the venue, not a list of suppliers.
Reusable per edition
If the event runs annually, we build the brand as a system of constant and variable. Logo stays, edition colour changes. One year of lead time is enough.
Legible on stages and in halls
Backdrop, LED wall and wayfinding are designed in real sight lines, not in a Figma mockup. Sizes, contrasts and type weights are tested on site.

Frequently asked
Event branding with a design system, print and digital applications, lanyards, RFID wristbands, backdrop and wayfinding typically lands between €6,000 and €25,000, depending on event size, number of rooms and production scope. For recurring conferences the effort spreads across multiple editions.
From briefing to event day, 3 to 6 months is realistic, depending on event date and production lead time. Backdrops and stage builds often need 4 to 6 weeks of lead time, print pieces 2 to 3 weeks. We plan the calendar backwards from the event date.
We work with stage builders, printers and event technology partners depending on location and requirements. You can bring existing partners, we coordinate the data delivery. On site supervision on event day is available on request.
Yes. We design the visual surface of the conference app in coordination with the app provider, and the RFID wristbands as print supplier orders. Both sit inside the same design system as lanyard and backdrop.
Yes. Conferences, symposia and brand events in Berlin, Munich, Leipzig, Frankfurt, Hamburg or smaller venues are part of the normal project landscape. Setup days are planned per location, everything before runs remote.
