Keynote Presentation

A keynote is not a sales deck with bigger type. It has rhythm, atmosphere and an audience that cannot skip ahead. Anyone showing a packed chart set in the fifth minute loses the room. We design stage presentations so they land in the front row and stay legible in the back, in 16:9 stage format at 4K and with clear safe areas for confidence monitor and LED wall, across Germany for speakers, executives and event teams.

What keynote design does differently

Legibility from 30 metres is the first test. Headlines at minimum 60 point, body text at 28 to 32 point, contrast values above AA. Diagrams are reduced so the punchline lands in two seconds, because nobody in the audience will study a legend. Imagery is sourced or upscaled in 4K, because a pixelated slide on an LED wall is instantly noticed. We structure the talk in acts: opening, pain point, turning point, resolution, call. Slides that do not carry that structure are cut.

If event branding is being built in parallel, we tune the talk deck to backdrop, lanyard and stage loop in colour and type. An existing brand guideline is the template if it exists; otherwise we develop a dedicated talk design system that can be reused per speaker or per edition.

How a talk deck is handed over

You receive a stage file in Keynote or PowerPoint at 16:9 in 4K, a PDF read version with speaker notes turned into prose, and a Figma master file for future updates. Tech check material ships with it so the on site test does not become damage control. A typical talk deck lands between €2,500 and €7,000, depending on slide count, image research and stage format. Anyone wanting to recycle the talk later for sales decks or investor decks gets a system that carries both.

01

Legible on any stage

We design typography, contrast and image sizes so the slide still works from row 25, without overwhelming the front area.

02

Stage format from the start

16:9 in 4K by default, with clearly defined safe areas for confidence monitor, lower thirds and event stage playback. No nasty surprises in the tech check.

03

Visual rhythm, not bullet salad

We structure the talk in acts, with breathing room and visual slides. Audiences who can exhale stay longer.

04

Also usable as a read version

The talk version is visual, the read version turns speaker notes into prose. One source, both deliverables.

Frequently asked

A full talk deck with storyline consulting, design system, image research and 25 to 40 slides in 16:9 typically lands between €2,500 and €7,000. If a stage backdrop or event branding is built in parallel, that is quoted separately.

From briefing to final deck, 3 to 6 weeks is realistic. With a clearly written talk script it moves faster. If the story is still forming, we add a round of storyline work.

We deliver a tech check file with contrast tests, type size demos and safe area markers. If an on site test is possible, we plan final adjustments after it.

The default is Keynote or PowerPoint in 16:9 at 4K, plus a PDF read version and a Figma master. Special sizes for LED walls or unusual stage formats are clarified up front.

Yes. Briefings, storyline sessions and tech check preparation run entirely remote. Talk decks for speakers at conferences in Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Leipzig or smaller stages are part of the normal project landscape.
