A storefront is the most expensive stage in retail and is often treated the most neglectedly. Mannequins from the stockroom, a few sale signs, a string of lights at Christmas, that is the reality on many high streets. Yet the storefront decides who walks in and who walks past. We design storefronts that stop without shouting, with a system so each change does not become an improvisation.
Where a storefront actually wins
In brick-and-mortar retail the conversion rate from storefront to door is the central lever. Whoever has 1,000 passers-by a day and turns 30 of them into visitors has a different business basis than whoever turns 80. That ratio depends not on the assortment but on how the assortment is staged. For boutiques, bookshops, florists or concept stores the storefront is the gating question.
A good storefront rarely shows everything. It shows an idea, a theme, a mood, and trusts that the rest follows inside. It works through contrast, depth and considered accents, and it changes in time before it becomes wallpaper. We build storefronts that think in an annual plan: four seasons, perhaps two campaigns in between, each tied clearly to the visual identity.
What we actually deliver
A typical storefront project starts with an inventory: window dimensions, sightlines, lighting, location character. From this a concept grows with four seasonal designs and a modular system of components that can be reused. Painted plywood sets are often the most economical choice, because they can be rebuilt, repainted and used over years. 3M vinyl complements this on the glass, Risograph posters add depth.
Concretely: a concept document with seasonal plans, technical drawings for the storefront builder, an instruction sheet for your team with photos, material specifications and supplier sources. We coordinate with the manufacturer, check the test build and are on site for the first season if needed. For the facade design and the wayfinding system, a consistent image emerges from outside to inside in parallel. If the brand is new we start with a brand workshop so the storefront rests on a clear stance.

A storefront is not a shelf behind glass. It is a stage that should tell a story in 30 seconds, which is why we work with themes, not unit counts.
